With so many children, outings like this may be fun, but when it comes to bible study time, it's havoc. So we implemented a system in which we either (a) had alternate weeks for ladies and men, so the other gender will take care of the children or (b) had a pair of adults on duty to do children ministry while the rest of us concentrated on bible study and finishing on time. (b) was quite well ran, the last time we did it, and after a while, the children actually knew which adults conducted the classes with more fun. And I must say, some of the CG members really have the gifting for children ministry... 1 lady only needed to stand up and the children had so much fun running around her! Easy!
