I've read somewhere before that interactive play acting starts at 3 yrs old. Well, Caleb has been play acting with his friends and cousins quite a fair bit over past 1/2 yr or so. Nicole would be the princess and he would be the prince. He's the bus driver and someone's the passenger etc.
But just now, he did something which I've never seen before. It was bedtime and after having some tumble and rumble with him, I asked him, "Guess what time it is now Caleb," while at the same time making the motion of brushing teeth. He responded poignantly and silently, with the motion of first drinking some water and then spitting it out, just like he would do when he's gurgling, after brushing teeth. Mime acting, I guess.
