Sarah's 2nd Birthday

We threw a little party for Sarah at the end of the year to celebrate her 2nd birthday. After throwing birthday parties for the kids for the last few years, I told myself that this year we'll keep it a small and simple affair so that I can enjoy the party a little more and not "kill" myself trying to put everything together. And so we had a very nice, cosy little party. Just immediate family and Sarah's Godmas and their families. It was nice coz the party was small enough for us to mingle and just sit around to eat and chat and for once, we could take photos with all our guests. And on top of that, I didn't have to try too hard to think of things to keep the kids entertained coz it was just our kids, their cousins and Jude. They kinda just self entertained themselves with the toys at home. In general, everybody kinda enjoyed themselves.
I think we should hold more parties like this!

This year we ordered a Minnie Mouse cake for Sarah coz she likes the character. Probably influenced by Korkor who loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We spared Yeeyee the "agony" of coming up with a cake design for Sarah coz we had some cake vouchers to use up.
