This is how ND found Sarah one morning.
He had woken up and was walking out of our room when he saw Sarah waking up as well. She got up from her bed and walked across towards our bed. ND thought that she was walking over to look for me, as she sometimes does. However, when he came back into the room after a short while, he saw he lying face down all sprawled out on our floor.
ND's first reaction was to quickly check whether she was ok and then he realised that she was just sleeping!!?? Ya, this girl has inherited the Lee family's preference to sleep on the cold, hard floor. (Apparently Sarah's Grandpa and Great Grandma loves sleeping on the floor. Seems like a Sabahan habit...)
Actually this is not the first time that I've found her on the floor. I've seen her toss and turn so much in bed and eventually end up on the floor. But this is the first time that we see her waking up, walking from her bed and going to the floor to sleep in this manner.
A closer look at the sleeping girl...
Anyway, to counteract her tendencies to sleep on the floor, we got a new mattress, rearranged the kids' mattresses a little so that they now sleep side by side instead of perpendicular to each other, and we let Sarah sleep against the wall and place Caleb's mattress next to hers so that even if she rolls off, she'll be rolling onto Caleb's mattress.
