About Meimei

Ok, I think I've not posted anything about Meimei yet so since Meimei is coming, I guess it's time to make some mention of her (just in case she starts feeling neglected. Ya, according to Yeeyee, the 2nd one tends to get neglected).
So, Meimei is happily swimming (and squirming) in my nice, big and warm tummy as I'm typing. She's about 31 weeks old and when we saw her last week, she's a good 1.2kg. Meimei was made in Spore (unlike Caleb who was manufactured in Sabah) but Meimei was discovered when we were holidaying in US. (Yes, poor me throwing up and feeling sick half the time when it's supposed to be a holiday for me. And poor Daddy too coz I accused him of making me feel sick all the time due to his "poor" driving skills when we were on our roadtrip.)
Well, Meimei is supposed to arrive on Christmas Day (Ya, how nice right? My Christmas present) But then again, we don't really know when she will come coz when I went for my detailed scan, the machine projected her EDD to be New Year's Day instead. Anyway, as with all deliveries, it's just an estimation. I guess Meimei will come only when she's ready to be out. I just hope she lets me eat my fill of Christmas goodies and enjoy my parties first before coming. But don't come too late coz I don't want to be stuck having confinement when Chinese New Year comes! Yes, I love my bak kwa and pineapple tarts too much to give them all up. So Meimei! Be nice to Mummy ok!
Initially, Meimei appeared to be a quiet little girl but over the last two months, she seemed to have gotten an extra boost of energy and she became SUPER active. Personality wise, she seems to behave quite differently from Caleb. With Caleb, he was very predictable. He used to like to kick me from time to time just to get my attention. If I respond to him, he would kick even more. If I ignore him when I'm busy with work, he'll just stop after a while. I found him to be just like that after he's born. If you give him a lot of attention, he'll demand for even more. If you ignore him or appear to be busy, he'll leave you alone after a while.
With Meimei, she just kicks me as and when she likes, regardless of whether I respond or not. She seems quite unpredictable (Ya but girls are like that right?) Anyway, she doesn't seem to sleep much coz she's ALWAYS kicking me, either that or she's shaking her butt a lot. Sometimes she can go on without stopping for half an hour. Makes me think that I'm going to have a very frisky girl man. Oh, the only time that she takes a break is when I'm walking. Think she likes me to sway her to sleep. Daddy said like that "churm" already. It's seems so long ago that we had to carry Caleb and sing to him every night just to get him to sleep. Looks like we got to brace ourselves for sleepless nights and aching arms again!
Oh, and we had a pretty clear view of Meimei's face during our last scan. We can't really make out who she looks like coz it was for a few seconds only. But me and Daddy both had the impression that she looks very different from Caleb. One thing that stuck out was her nose. It's very big! I think it looks like Daddy's nose. I dunno issit the scan machine that made her nose look big or she just got a big nose. Ya, doesn't sound too great huh... Don't look like Caleb and got big nose for a girl. Well, it's too early to assess lah. We'll leave the creation part to God. Anyway, she's God's gift for us and I'm sure He will make her beautiful and perfect. Maybe it won't be by the world's standards but definitely it's me and Daddy's prayer that she will be a beautiful girl in God's sight.
