Presenting the Dino Cake that made all the kids go "Wah..."
Caleb had requested to have a T-Rex chasing a long neck dino, and though Yeeyee couldn't find a T-Rex, she obliged with a rather fierce looking dino that had it's arms round the long neck dino.
Aerial View of the Cake. Yeeyee even made a volcano and added it on the cake and provided me with this candy that is supposed to explode in your mouth. I was supposed to pour the candy into the volcano and add water to it when I brought out the cake and it was supposed to sizzle and crackle. The effect was there but unfortunately the kids were making too much noise to really hear it.

It is tradition at Caleb's school for a child celebrating his birthday to hold a globe and walk round this little arrangement where they light a candle in the middle and they surround it with all the months in a year. And as the child walks around, everybody will sing,"The earth goes round and round the sun, the earth goes round and round the sun, the earth goes round and round the sun and Caleb turns 1."
Then the teacher would ask me what Caleb could do at 1 years old. And after I tell them, they would repeat the song and move on to two years old, until we reach 5 years old. Apparently this is the Montessori way of teaching the children about growing older.
After that was done, we all sang Caleb the traditional birthday song.
Here's Sarah joining in with the singing, whilst Caleb looks on.
Me with Sophia, trying to join in with the rest to sing the birthday song.
