This Olympic Season...

Ladies and Gentlemen... Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

In the spirit of this Olympic season...I'm pleased to unveil to you...
The future sensation in Olympic history... with lots of great potential...
and high probability to surpass Michael Phelps as the world's greatest Olympian...
.
.
.
Presenting.... Caleb Lee!

.
.
.
Not convinced?
Well, here, is where I'm going to demonstrate to you the innate and great potential that I have...

Oh wait... before I start... got to do some warm ups to loosen those bulging muscles of mine...

And I'll need to test the water a little... make sure it's of the right temperature...

Now I'm ready.... On the mark....

Get set.....

.
.
.
.
SPLASH!!!!
.
.
.
See... don't you think I've got REAL potential? I dived into the water at such lightning speed that nobody's fast enough to capture it on camera.

Ya, that's me, straight after my dive...

Not a very glam shot but it's ok, everybody's already very impressed with my diving skills.
I had a huge crowd watching me come out of the pool. I bet they all saw the potential in me.

Btw, for kids at home, please don't attempt what I did coz you've got to be specially trained to do it.

The Inside Story
Well, as with each legend there's always an inside story, and word has it that the Lee family decided to visit Hort Park on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Grandpa and Grandma were invited to come along as well so the Lee family went to pick them up from their house.

See Meimei with Daddy all happy and cheery waiting for Grandpa and Grandma...

Caleb's all geared up as well with a banana in hand to boost his energy...

Upon arriving at Hort Park, the Lee family was greeted with a pleasant sight of nature and landscape.

Unfortunately, it started to drizzle shortly after the Lee family's arrival and they were all confined to the main building at the park. Whilst taking shelter from the rain, it was then that Caleb spotted an open platform with an unblocked view of the landscape, and... a shallow pool.

Grandma and Grandpa had brought along a bubble gun which came with a little container to hold bubbles. Caleb very excitedly asked for permission to play with the water in the pool. He said he wanted to scoop water into the container. Daddy and Mummy both didn't see much harm in him just scooping water for a while so permission was granted. Well, apparently he got a little carried away and before anyone could catch hold of him... he fell into the pool.

Well, apart from being drenched from head to toe and looking a little shocked, Caleb was quite ok. Daddy and Mummy didn't want to make a big deal out of it for Caleb so they just laughed and asked him whether he was ok. The "spectators" nearby were also laughing and smiling at Caleb. Thankfully Mummy had an extra change of clothes available for Caleb.

Well, you can see that Caleb recovered from his shock really fast coz before he went off to change, he asked for a chance to go into the pool again to play with water!

Here's Caleb, all changed and showing the "culprit" of his little adventure.

And Caleb relating to his audience what happened to him.

And at the end of each sporting event, there's always a photo taking session right?

And how can we end off the event without a medal for the champion? albeit a black colour one...
Here's a few poses from the future Olympian with his black medal!

Btw, on Monday night as Caleb settled down to go to bed, out of the blue, he just said to me, "Mummy, when I went to school today, I didn't tell my teachers I fell into the pond." I stared at him for for a moment, smiled and then just said, "ok." This is what I call, self awareness.
