Daddy came back on Thursday morning. When he came home, first person he saw was Sarah. She gave him the "Hey you look familiar!" face and a teeny weeny smile when Daddy waved at her. But when he carried her, then it occurred to her who he was and she got really excited and happy to see him. Next in line was me! Of course I was really happy to see Daddy and obviously I was the one whom he missed the most :). Anyway, after me, Daddy went to look for Caleb who was still sleeping away. Daddy called Caleb and he answered "yes?" very sleepily and all of a sudden he jumped out of bed, with a big grin on his face and shouted "Daddy!" And he proceeded to tell Daddy how much he missed him. So sweet of him right?
Anyway, that's our very short reunion. Unfortunately Daddy's off again to Pakistan for another week on Monday. Poor us... I'm not very excited to see how Caleb would react and now I got to crack my brains doubly hard to distract him with lots of activities throughout the week so that he wouldn't keep asking for Daddy.
Hopefully this will be the last of Daddy's overseas biz trips for a while more!
