The first time that we went to T3, it was before the official opening and the place was like a ghost town. Very spacious and highly unpopulated. 2 Sundays ago when we sent Godma Jace off in the morning, more shops were open but still there wasn't that many people. On Saturday night when we arrived, we were swarmed by crowds of people. It's as though T3 is the latest place of interest for Singaporeans. There were tons of other families out with their children and the foodcourt at the basement was perpetually crowded.
See the number of people in the photo. When we arrived at 7pm, it was very crowded. Before we left at 9.30pm, it was still very crowded and there were still lots of people waiting for tables and eating.
To avoid the crowd and tire the children out, we went on the sky train and went to T2 instead. The terminal was very much less crowded than T3 and the kids had more space to run around. See Caleb and Nic posing whilst waiting for the skytrain to come. Caleb is going through a phase of refusing to pose for the camera and when he does look at the camera, he'll put on an ugly face.
We met Auntie Joy at T2 for dinner and whilst we ate our dinner, Nic and Caleb played catching and worked out their energy. Here's Nic and Caleb posing with Auntie Joy after dinner, both of them still looking quite energetic.
Though Nat didn't really join in the fun and wandered around independently on her own, she was the first to be knocked out and fell asleep before we sent her home.
Nic and Caleb didn't fall asleep like Nat but they were visibly tired out after running around for an hour. See their tired faces whilst waiting for the sky train to go back to T3.
Well, our ploy was so effective that we had to try hard to keep Nic and Caleb awake in the car until we reach home.
