KL Trip!

Yup, we went for another KL trip recently with Yee Yee's family, which means 3 children on the road! Haha, though it was a handful at times, but it was manageable. The children definitely had more fun than the adults. You can read more about the trip on Yee yee's blog Growing Up with Nic & Nat.

We didn't take that many photos as KL is now a familiar place for all of us. Also unfortunately, I realised that I didn't manage to take any photos that showed the similarity in height that Caleb now has with Nicole (just about 1/4 head shorter, as compared to the one full head shorter a few months ago, as can be seen from here.

We set off early in the morning (although not as early as we originally thought we would), but still ended up in KL around lunch time. Caleb and Nic will still surprisingly happy campers as we waited in the hotel lobby for adjoining rooms. (yes, the 2 kids had a whale of a time with the adjoining rooms, running in and out of the 2 rooms and knocking on the doors in the mornings to wake each other up... well, mostly Nic waking us up lah since she is accustomed to waking up much earlier).

Day 1 was spent settling down and it wisked away pretty fast. The mummies didn't even have time to shop, which is why on Day 2, they were out on revenge :) We went to Megamall and the mummies would go off shopping while the daddies pushed the kids around in these.

They also did a check together to make sure nobody was talegating them.

Not to mention, the kids also enjoyed themselves running wild (under adult supervision of course, as we don't believe in letting the children run wild all over the shop).

And Caleb was sometimes made to take a breather and drink his water. Also got him to pose for me to take photos too :)

Day 3 was less eventful as we prepared to come home. By the time we were half way back, Caleb was so tired that he started getting edgy in his car seat and insisted on getting out. We've always trained him to sit in his car seat while we are driving and so maintained the same consistent message as well. Guess he must have been sitting in the seat for too long over the past 3 days and he didn't quieten down. He ended up crying for about 45min and became quite hysterical. Wife went to the back to give him a cuddle (not taking him out of the car seat though), and he slowly quietened down and fell asleep after a long while. It was a good thing that the next day when we went out again in the car, he didn't have any adverse reaction to the car seat :) He even says "this is Caleb's special car seat" nowadays :)
