Two nights ago, as I was preparing Caleb's milk before he went to sleep, I overheard Caleb's conversation with Daddy in the room...
Daddy: Caleb, who makes milk?
Caleb: Cows make milk.
Daddy: Oh, so does Mummy make milk?
Caleb: Yes! Mummy's a cow!
As I stood outside, I was thinking... Great! This Daddy is asking to go sleep in the toilet! See when you put two boys together, the nonsense that they conjure up with each other!
Then I went into the room to pass Caleb his milk and Caleb declared to me... "Mummy, you make milk! You're a cow!" and he laughed and then he looked at Daddy and said "See, Mummy didn't scold me..." Apparently when Caleb said that I was a cow, Daddy told him that I would scold him if he told me that. And then the two boys just couldn't stop laughing.
Well, last night, I told Daddy that it was his turn to make milk for Caleb. And when he passed Caleb his milk, Caleb laughed and told him "Daddy, you make milk. You're a cow." And after he drank his milk, he wanted to pray so he said "Daddy Cow, time to pray."
Heehee... see who gets the last laugh!
