Over the weekend, we attended Paul and Suzanne's wedding dinner. It has been a while since Caleb attended any wedding dinners. The last time he attended one, he couldn't walk yet and was a good, sleepy baby who would sleep once he drank his milk at 8.30pm and allow us to enjoy the rest of the dinner.
This time round, little Caleb was bursting with energy and was fidgety throughout the dinner. We over estimated Caleb's ability to sit through a 9-course dinner so we did not bring any tibits or toys to entertain him. When Caleb started to get restless (even before the dinner started), Mummy had to squeeze out all her creative juices and use the things around the dinner table to entertain Caleb. This was coupled with walks at the lobby of the ballroom and mingling with other toddlers from church.
Here's one of our attempts to expand Caleb's energies by getting him to do little exercises on his baby chair.
