Brushing Teeth

We have been trying to get Caleb to brush his teeth on a regular basis and teach him to brush his teeth properly. Brushing teeth to him is like a fun activity but he basically just wants to suck on his toothbrush bristles or bite the toothbrush rather than really brushinging his teeth. Mummy has been trying hard to get him to brush his teeth correctly by brushing teeth in front of Caleb and trying to help him get his strokes right by guiding his hands. But the boy has ideas of his own and refuses to let Mummy touch his toothbrush. He'll keep saying "No"very firmly and fling Mummy's hand away. And he'll only give up his toothbrush when Mummy tells him that we are going to wash the toothbrush. He'll then say "wash... wash" and wants Mummy to bring him to the sink to wash the toothbrush himself.
Here's a video of him demonstrating how he brushes his teeth.

To date, Caleb has got 12 teeth already! All his incisors are out and over the last two months, 4 more teeth erupted. The 2 canine teeth on top and the first two molars at the bottom. Just this morning, Mummy noticed that the bottom two canine teeth look like they are going to erupt soon. Lucky for us, he isn't reacting too badly to the teething. The only thing that bothers Mummy is that he now likes to stick his fingers into his mouth to poke at his new teeth.
Here's a chart on the number of teeth a typical baby should have.
