After reading my previous post, Wifey reminded me of another conversation that happened in the car last week.
Background #1 : Wife was driving with Caleb seated in the front seat and I was sitting in the backseat.
Background #2 : Wife and Sister-in-law had been taking turns over the past 4 years, getting pregnant and delivering one baby each year, starting from 2004 with Nicole, then Caleb, then Natalie, then Sarah and now soon to come "Chen2 Nan2 Ding1" (hehe, the parents haven't confirmed his name yet, so we've been calling him Nan2 Ding1, which means the only male child of the family).
Caleb : (out-of-the-blue) Mummy, I want a di-di (younger brother).
Mummy : Huh?!
Daddy : Grins
Caleb : Yah, and then another mei-mei after that.
Daddy : Grins Grins
Mummy : Really?
Caleb : Yah. After Yee-Yee's baby come out, then its your turn again. So I want a di-di.
Daddy : Haha
Mummy : Who taught you to say that?
Caleb : Daddy.
Daddy : ?!?!? He framed me!
Caleb : Grins
Well, truthfully, I do want 4 children, but I didn't teach Caleb to say that. I'm glad that God is preparing Caleb for more siblings though. Probably also means that Caleb is happy with having Sarah mei-mei and that's why he doesn't mind having more siblings. Kudos to the mummy for spending time with them and helping them bond as siblings.
