The Timing of Sarah's Arrival

This is an area which has caused me lots of anxiety and I spent the whole of December wondering which day exactly would Sarah come. Well, I think this itself deserves an entry coz from this episode, God showed me that His timing is really perfect and taught me to trust that He is in control of all things.
As Daddy shared previously, the timing of Sarah's arrival was perfect. Her initial estimated date of arrival was on 25th Dec. Most people tell me that the second child will usually arrive earlier than the EDD. So the big question was WHEN???
In mid Dec, I told Daddy that Sarah would come after 16 Dec coz Daddy was helping out in the church combined youth camp during that period of time and I was sure that God wouldn't call Daddy to serve and allow me to go into labour during the camp period.
After the camp, I thought, ok, time for Sarah to come... but Daddy shared with me that he received a word of knowledge during the last night of the camp but he felt led to only share it during camp echo which was the following Sunday, on 23 Dec. So, I thought, ok... Sarah will only come after 23 Dec coz God, being who He is, won't give Daddy a word of knowledge to share and let me go into labour before that.
So 23 Dec passed and I looked forward to 25 Dec - the supposed due date. Well, there was no "action" that day and I was thinking "hmmm... maybe Meimei wants to let me enjoy my Christmas parties".
On the night of 27 Dec, we got a health scare from Daddy. He had gone for a body checkup and there were some unfavourable results and he needed to go for a CT scan the very next day to make sure that everything was ok. It was a very trying time for us (me and Daddy will share about this in another entry) but I really thank God that Sarah had not arrived yet coz it would be worse for us if I had gone into labour then and leave Daddy to go for his scan on his own. God ended our little ordeal at the end of Friday evening, 28 Dec.
On 29 Dec, we all had a good rest at home and on 30 Dec, after a good day of rest, my contractions started 10min after I woke up in the morning. That was about 7am in the morning. Upon reflection, God's timing is really, really perfect because, we were preparing to go to church. It was the year end service and we were having a combined service. That meant that it would be very crowded and cars usually have got difficulty getting out of the premises before the end of the service. If my contractions had started slightly later, we would have made our way to church and judging from how fast my labour progressed, I think I would have delivered in church or in the car.
So, as Daddy said, we really give thanks that we have a God who loves us and knows what's best for us and is in control of all things.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
