Caleb's Aspiration

Over the last 3 months, Caleb has been declaring "I'm going to be a pilot when I grow up." He'll say it in different ways. Sometimes he'll say "Next time, I'm going to fly an aeroplane, know. When I grow bigger. I'm going to be a pilot!" Other times, he'll just say " I'm going to be a pilot when I grow up. And fly an aeroplane!" There was once he did say to me and Daddy "When I grow up, I'm going to be a pilot and fly an aeroplane and drive MRT train!"
I'm really not sure when or where or who put the idea into his head and what's the big fascination about wanting to be a pilot. But I guess I should be happy that at least my son has some aspirations at the age of two. And he's chosen a more "macho" and cool aspiration. Maybe it's a boy thing. I don't really know but well, it does give me an additional reason to get him to sit at a safe distance when watching TV. I'll tell him that if he doesn't take care of his eyes, he'll not be able to be a pilot in future.
