Yee Yee took leave again so off we went to her house to hang out. Nic came home from school and was in a very generous mood. It was another one of the rare days where the two of them are not at loggerheads but were playing nicely with each other. Nic offered Caleb her favourite handphone and they took turns to play with it. There were no snatching or screaming but there were "please" and "thank you". Me and Yee yee were really surprised by the change in behaviour but we decided to just enjoy it while it lasts.
After dinner, Nic and Caleb started playing with Yee Yee's weighing scales. Nic started jumping off the scales and Caleb wanted to follow suit but the boy has not reached that milestone yet so no matter how hard he tried, he just can't lift both his feet up. Each time he tried to leap off the scales, he ended up taking a step down instead. The most hilarious part of it was that each time he stepped down, he'll say "cannot..." and then try again.
