And with all my other pregnancies, I've been struck with the much dreaded morning sickness. Yup, so really no mood to sit myself in front of the computer to blog. So silence, silence, silence... that's all you, my dear audience, get till I'm feeling slightly better and stop feeling like I need to throw up or I've got a ton of stuff stuck in my throat.
And you can forget about ND giving updates as well, coz he's been away, away, away. Away on biz trips, away on reservist, and then away on biz trip again! So with a sick mummy struggling to look after 2 very active kids, and a daddy hardly in sight, well, you really can't expect more other than silence....
Ok, lest you start to think that I'm really all alone with zero help, well, not exactly lah. I'm thankful I stay in Spore and friends and relatives are just a stone throw away. So I'm thankful for Yeeyee who's been taking me and the kids in and providing us with dinner at their house, and Godma Mei who very kindly invites me and Sarah over for lunch whenever she's off work and Grandpa and Grandma who comes over to play with the kids from time to time and give me time to clear some housework.
As for more updates... ok, ok, I'm working on it... I've actually got a ton of things to update. Stuff about the kids, the funny things they say to me, the funny stuff that they do, the places that we went. Some days as I lay in bed fighting my nausea, I'll remember the things that the kids said or did and I'll tell myself I've got to blog that before I forget! I mean, the kids are growing up so fast... and then the nausea monster and the fatigue monster gets the better of me, and so, I've been fighting a losing battle daily.
So, my dear friends, you want updates? How about taking the small step to pray for your dear friend here that the morning sickness monster will leave me and I'll give you the updates!
For the record, this is week number 6 that I've been feeling sick EVERYDAY. 6 weeks multiplied by 7 days, that's 42 days of feeling the need to throwup. With Caleb, I was sick for 7 weeks before my morning sickness went away. With Sarah, the naughty girl was not very nice to me and I was sick for 10 weeks. I'm praying hard that this little one will be nicer to me and that I'll start feeling some relief soon.
Btw, I think I'm really doing quite well today already. I actually managed to blog and complete a post!!!
Oh, and if I sound a little more antagonistic as compared to my usual self, well, it's the pregnancy hormones at work!!!
Footnote from ND
As the preggy has said, daddy has been away very often... even the posting of this (preggy has drafted this previously) is done overseas, partly becos I am away, and partly becos our internet access at home is down (till we can fix up the hub station which has somehow blown a fuse). So for those who are expecting a possible influx of updates... you may have to wait a while longer... apologies :(
But just in case you're wondering how the kids are looking now, here's their latest pics. :)
