Though Caleb was adamant about keeping his performance a secret from Daddy and me, I could tell that he was also anxious to perform for us. He had full dress rehearsals at his concert venue 2 weeks before his actual performance and when we dropped him off for his rehearsal, he kept asking us whether today was the day that we're watching him perform on stage. When we said no, he kept asking us why not? Ha, and when the actual day arrived, he was really very excited that finally we'll get to watch his performance. We were all quite excited to see what he had up has sleeve as well, after being kept in suspense for so long.
His first performance was titled Beach Boys.
Here's what we saw when Caleb's class first appeared on stage. Can you spot him?
A closer look..
All ready to boogie boogie...
Look at the cool dude strumming his guitar by the beach...
Surfing by the beach... Ya, the girls are all swooning...
Shaking his butt...
Swimming in the water and showing off his biceps...
The cool dude revealing his handsome face at the end of the performance
For a glimpse of his full dance, watch this...
And for his 2nd performance, 小鸭子, Caleb came out in a duck suit.
Warming up and fluttering his "wings"...
Quaking like a duck should...
Showing his cute duck butt...
Dancing amongst the other ducks...
Here's his 2nd dance performance...
Don't you think he performed very well? We all did, especially Grandma. She was so proud to see Caleb performing on stage that she actually cried!!! Ya, she's Caleb's number 1 fan.
Sarah was very supportive of her korkor Caleb as well. Though it was past her bedtime and she was really very tired, she was still very intrigued by all the dancing and singing on stage and would bob along, point at the children dancing and clap on her own.
Here's my little video of her.
And here's a glimpse of the children from the other performances. As usual they were dressed in colourful costumes and looked really cute.

The concert ended with a finale performance with all the children coming out to dance to the song "Under the Sea".
As you can tell, Caleb was very excited that the performance has finally come to an end.
Here's a short video of the finale. Some of the kids are just looking around for their parents, some of them are wandering around and some, like my son, are very engrossed in completing their final performance.
And here's all the kiasu parents trying to capture their child on stage
And at the end of the whole performance, here's me, the proud Mummy with my son.
