Here's Caleb and Grandpa when we just arrived at the Gardens.
The boy wasn't in much of a walking mood, so he had grandpa carrying him for half the distance as we made our way to an area where its open and grassy so that we can feed the boy there.
Grandpa finally got Caleb to walk on his own but as he hit the slopes with uneven sandy ground, the boy grounded to a halt and refused to put his foot down. He ended up standing on one foot for about 2mins. (This boy is an urban boy lah...remember how he refused to stand on grass last time?)
He only finally agreed to move on when Mummy came by the other hand and offered to swing him. So Mummy and Grandpa swung Caleb for another quarter of the way.
Finally settled down on a nice picnic place where Caleb could eat his dinner.
Happy enough to say "cheezeeeeee" for the camera.
Once dinner was done, he was up and about again, getting his grandpa to walk him all over the place.
Grandma's walking route bypassed where we were sitting and Caleb ran over to her. Needless to say, Grandma showed off her grandson to her friends.
And oh, by the way, Ikea was having a pyjamas "under-the-stars" movie screening that day and we had some funny people wearing pyjamas, coming with their pillows and "what-nots". Here's one of the Ikea staff.
The funniest thing was because we arrived so early, we got one of the best grounds. The rest of the people came sauntering in only after. But just as the event was starting, we packed up our bags and picnic mat and left :)
Must have left the rest wondering what this family was doing... getting the best place and then leaving. Truth is we were not prepared for the movie screening. It starts only at 8.30pm and will end only at 10.30pm, way too late for the prince to be still at the park.
