Boy boy's first overseas trip!

Mummy got posted to Hong Kong recently to work and since boy boy needs to follow mummy, well, I went along as well, taking on the role of daddy-nanny for that eventful, fulfilling, tiring but really satisfying 5 days.
I got to spend quality time with my boy (something which I'm really thankful for, knowing that not many dads have the luxury of doing, or passion of doing), taking care of him by feeding him (hmm, this was a real challenge, having to try all kinds of different positions while he grumbles and cries... finally settled on lying him on his side with the bottle 45% up), bathing him (this was fun! He has always been very happy bathing, and being overseas and being bathed in a sink didn't change his perspective of it), changing his pee and poo (well, not really interested in this one, but well, you gain some you lose some) and putting him to sleep (the most tiring task of all... he's simply too kay-poh to go to sleep quickly, or for the matter, quietly too, of which the neighbours can definitely attest to).
Each evening as the mummy comes back from work, you can almost see the relief on my face :) Seriously, I thank God that He didn't make me a woman... it's a tough job I'm telling you! I now truly appreciate the work that my wife has been putting in. It's a 24/7 job, and she has been carrying it out superbly... boy boy's cheerfulness and fatty thighs (and arms and face and ....) will tell you as much.
Well, whatever office work I had hoped to catch up on was quickly replaced by whatever rest I could get during those peaceful and serene times when boy boy was asleep. I could barely keep awake myself.
Looking back now after 3 weeks (sorry for all those who had been waiting for these photos... as I mentioned, lots of work to catch up on :)), I wouldn't mind being a daddy-nanny again actually, just not 5 days in a row without reprieve, haha.
Want to thank God for a safe journey and a truly fulfilling one.
